In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead . . . Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. - James 2:17-18
At Kingswood, we believe that faith and service go hand in hand. We believe we need to be spiritually filled through regular chapel services, various talks on Pulse Days, and also during our Spiritual Formation weeks. We also believe that we need to give of ourselves to others.
We provide plenty of opportunities for you to engage in worship and to reach out.
Chapel – Chapel happens every Tuesday and Friday morning at 9:30 am. We have a diverse group of speakers join us, all throughout the school year. No two chapel messages are alike!
Pulse – Each Wednesday we examine different aspects of our “spiritual” pulse: head, heart, hands, and habits. During hands days, the entire student body serves in very tangible ways throughout our home province of New Brunswick.
Spiritual Formation Weeks – Three times throughout the year, we have a set of services dedicated to the spiritual formation of the entire campus, with focuses on spiritual vitality, holiness, and God's work around the world.
Encounter – Encounter is dynamic youth event that happens each fall here at Kingswood. It introduces youth to Kingswood University, and gives them the chance to meet with our students who are often very involved with the event.
Student Ministry Teams – Kingswood’s student ministry teams travel throughout the year to youth groups, summer camps, worship events, and more. This is a major way to serve throughout the year.
Speakers Bureau – Kingswood’s Speakers Bureau is a resource for churches and ministries that may want to tap into the expertise of our faculty and staff.
