This year Dr. Elliott has been a member of a church consulting team, called Maximizing Impact. Organized by the Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church, Maximizing Impact meets with a church over a weekend to help them identify ways their ministry can greater impact their community. Dr. Elliott encourages church leaders to see the importance of being willing to tackle anything and everything that hinders a church from impacting their communities for God.
Dr. Elliott also sings with a group of singers called Emmaus Road. The group sings two or three weekends per month in churches throughout the Maritimes.

Professor Rhyno is a contributing writer to Seedbed Worship Design Collective. In her recent article, “Worshiping with the Body: How Postures Lead Others,” Rhyno talks about how “our engagement – emotional, spiritual and even physical, is important to help God’s people to engage with Christ.” You may read the article at Seedbed.
VP for Finance and Operations
At the February board meeting of ABACC (Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges), Ivan Graham was elected president of the North American association that consists of 179 members. The mission of ABACC is to “improve the standard of business management in schools of Christian Higher Education by providing professional development, networking and mutual support to their business leadership.” Prior to his election, he had served as Vice President for four years.
In addition to his duties at the university, Mr. Graham is President of the Sussex and District Chamber of Commerce, having served on their board for a number of years. He is also treasurer at his local church, Sussex Wesleyan.
VP for Campus Life
Last month Kirk Sabine served as Exhibit Coordinator for the annual ABHE convention that was attended by over 400 professionals from member institutions. The Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) is the accrediting agency for approximately 200 biblical higher education institutions across North America. As Exhibit Coordinator, Kirk was responsible for various conference preparations and specifically assisting with the set-up and registration of the 42 exhibitors at the event.
