Just a few weeks ago we said goodbye to our student body for Christmas break. Campus is never quite the same without them and we are eager to see them return.
We will miss the 21 fourth-year students who will be gone all semester for their supervised ministry experience. This innovative approach—the gold-standard for ministerial preparation—has our students literally spread out across the globe. We are excited to see how God will use this time to equip these soon-to-be-graduates for global impact.
The new year of 2016 begins with several very positive trends:
- Our student head-count for the spring semester is looking very good and we will even increase the number of our international students.
- We had an excellent experience at Follow, the Wesleyan youth conference, receiving great interest in our programs and several applications.
- Indications are positive for good enrolment numbers next fall, thanks largely to the great work of Brittany Trafton and her team in the Enrolment department.
- We are also seeing a very positive trajectory in giving this school year, thanks to the great work of Scott Rhyno and Debbie Benson.
Of course, we recognize the Lord’s hand in these positive signs. We are so grateful for how you are responding to His promptings to pray and support us with your gifts.
Now we’re just waiting for those cars to start rolling onto campus.
