Co-vocational ministry blends two or more callings into one unified vision for Kingdom impact: one in congregational ministry and another in the workplace or community.
Across Canada, this model of ministry is growing rapidly. But with its unique opportunities come unique challenges for pastors, church boards, congregations, and leadership teams.
Kingswood University’s Co-Vocational Ministry Seminar is designed to bring those groups together for a day of practical learning, honest conversation, and meaningful collaboration.
Whether you are a co-vocational pastor, church board member, ministry leader, or student preparing for ministry, you’ll leave with practical tools to help build healthier, more sustainable ministry partnerships.

Meet the Presenters
Rev. Ken Roach
Vice President of Innovation & Advancement, Wesley Biblical Seminary
Ken is Vice President of Innovation and Advancement at Wesley Biblical Seminary and project leader for the Vocatia Collaborative, an initiative focused on reaching and equipping new church leaders through non-traditional pathways.
An ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church, Ken also serves co-vocationally as a Teaching Pastor at Century Church in Pike Road, Alabama. His background includes communications and media, and he holds an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Wesley Biblical Seminary.
Dr. Patrick Quinn

Lead Pastor, Century Church | Pike Road, Alabama
Patrick is the founding church planter and Lead Pastor of Century Church, an independent Methodist congregation in Pike Road, Alabama.
His ministry experience spans everything from living-room church planting to traditional congregations and megachurch ministry. He also serves co-vocationally as a partner and Chief Strategy Officer for InterHealth Solutions, alongside several entrepreneurial projects.
Patrick holds a DMin from Drew University and an MDiv from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
Rev. Dr. Justin Bradbury
Program Director, MAPT & Co-Vocational Ministry, Kingswood University
Justin has lived and served in co-vocational ministry for many years.
He currently serves as a district leader for The Wesleyan Church in Western Canada, Program Director for Kingswood University’s Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology and Co-Vocational Ministry, and teaches at Ambrose Seminary.
Based in Calgary, Alberta, Justin actively recruits and trains church planters for co-vocational ministry. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, where he specialized in Wesleyan theology and mission.
Rev. Dr. Brittany Trafton
Director of Oral Learning, Kingswood University
Brittany serves as Director of Oral Learning at Kingswood University, where her work focuses on the holistic formation of Christian ministry leaders through the integration of mind, heart, and lived practice.
A Kingswood alumna, Brittany holds an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary, a ThM in Systematic Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Her vocational experience spans theological education, institutional leadership, and church ministry.
Ordained in The Wesleyan Church, Brittany is passionate about helping leaders develop wisdom, integrity, and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit.
