Encounter 2025
What is Encounter?
Encounter is a dynamic high school youth event held every fall in November. Our goal at Kingswood is to help you prepare for what matters most, and this high-energy, impactful weekend is designed to do just that! It is filled with activities and events that will introduce you to the Kingswood community, engage you in worship through music and the Word, and challenge you to explore the call God has placed on your life.
Early-bird registration is $75 per person by October 17 or $90 per person after October 17. Registration includes all meals, snacks, activities, and on-campus overnight accommodations.
Schedule
Friday
- 5pm – Registration Opens
- 6:30 pm – Evening Rally Pre-show
- 7pm – Evening Rally
- 8:45-9:30pm – Snack & Grade 11-12 Social
- 9:30 – Activities (Swimming, Laser Tag, Games…)
- 11:00 pm – Curfew
Saturday
- 7:30 – Breakfast
- 9am – Morning Rally
- 11:30am-2:30pm – Carnival with lunch outside
- 3:30 – 5pm – Closing Rally
- 5pm – Supper and Travel home
Speaker
Spencer Conway
Unity unto revival. This is the cause Spencer Conway is giving his life for. His heart burns to see the church in the Maritimes come together in deeper prayer and unity for the sake of the next generation. Alongside his role as the Next Generations Pastor at Rock Church, Spencer serves on the leadership team for One Conference-an event that brings together thousands of teenagers across the Maritimes for a powerful weekend seeking God’s presence. At 27 years of age, Spencer is a self-described basketball fan, coffee lover, and book nerd. He got his Bachelor of Theology from Acadia Divinity College in 2018 and currently lives in Bedford, Nova Scotia, with his wife, Sarah, and his son, Hunter.

On-campus accommodations are available as part of the registration fee. Space is limited, so please register early to ensure we can accommodate your group.
Off-campus accommodations in the area: Stay at the centrally-located Amsterdam Inn & Suites in Sussex, New Brunswick and enjoy great amenities and affordable rates.
