Job Title: Campus Operations Worker

16 weeks 35 hours per week
This is a job partially funded by the government of Canada under the Canada Summer Jobs program. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident ages 15 to 30 years of age.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The mission of our operations team is to prepare for and service the essential needs of students, faculty and guests of Kingswood University. To accomplish this, operational plans are prepared and carried out in a number of key areas including COVID-19 event risk assessment, procedural planning, student and guest communications, facility preparations, coordination of resources, event support, clean up, and assessment. The person in this position will help meet the challenge of reshaping and servicing facilities, and the working team needed to safely service event needs of various group sizes on the campus, and via distance technology. Event planning and operations will be within the requirements of the Joint Health and Safety Committee operational plan of Kingswood University.
This person is supervised by the VP for Campus Life at Kingswood University and works closely with Kingswood’s Maintenance Facilitator. This person will work with and learn from a broader team including Campus Life staff, Plant Operations, Food Services, Technology Services and Housekeeping personnel.
