Thanks to an incredibly generous gift of $1,000,000, Kingswood is thrilled to announce the Joyce and Esly Holmes and Family Scholarship. This full scholarship will be granted to an incoming student who demonstrates a clear calling to pastoral ministry and is renewable for four years.
It honours Joyce and Esly Holmes and their family. The Holmes are strong Christians with a long history of supporting worthy Christian ministries. They are passionate about preparing ministers for the church, pastors who are well trained and deeply committed to honouring the call of God on their lives.
They have chosen to make this gift as a way to eliminate financial obstacles for those who will serve well in Christ’s church. The scholarship will be awarded to an incoming student based on financial need and sense of God’s call.
Kingswood is incredibly grateful to Joyce and Esly Holmes for their commitment to Christ and His church and for their sacrificial generosity on behalf of the next generation of pastors who prepare at Kingswood.
