Dr. Erica Bowler completed her PhD in History at McGill University. She holds a BA in history, an MA in International Development Studies, and an MTS from Regent College, Vancouver. Her PhD dissertation focused on women in The Salvation Army in late 19th- and early 20th-century Britain.
Dr. Bowler is passionate about Christian History. She is excited to learn more about women’s contributions to Church history and to study Christian history from a global perspective.
A life-long learner and bibliophile, Dr. Bowler is happy to be serving as the Director of Library Services at Kingswood University. She also teaches Study Methods at the library as well as online courses.
During her spare time, she enjoys reading, cycling, jogging, cooking, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
