Brittany serves as Director of Oral Learning as full-time administrative faculty at Kingswood University, where her work is rooted in a deep conviction: that Christian ministry leaders are formed through the integration of mind, heart, and lived practice. Her passion is to help cultivate this kind of holistic formation for the sake of the global Church’s growth and discipleship.
Her journey with Kingswood began as a student, earning her ThB in 2010, and has since come full circle through years of education and service in leadership and the classroom. Along the way, Brittany pursued further theological study, completing an MDiv at Asbury Theological Seminary and a ThM in Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. Most recently, she completed her PhD at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, focusing on Christian practical wisdom’s formation in scholar-practitioner theological educators—a theme that continues to shape her research, teaching, and leadership.
Brittany’s vocational path reflects a dynamic blend of academic scholarship, institutional leadership, and church ministry. Prior to her current role, she served in several leadership positions at Kingswood, including Vice President for Enrolment and Communications and the Women’s Resident Director. Her love for students and teaching has remained constant throughout, expressed through years of mentorship, teaching Bible and theology in both residential and distance settings – Doctrine of Holiness being her favourite class, both as a
student and to teach.
Her work extends beyond the university into the life of the Church. Ordained in The Wesleyan Church, Brittany has served in a variety of roles, including National Director of Global Ministries and the Bookkeeper for The Wesleyan Church of Canada, a member of the Atlantic District of the Wesleyan Church’s District Board of Ministerial Development (DBMD), and as a board member on her local church’s board. Whether in the academy or church, her desire is to see leaders formed with wisdom, integrity, and a deep attentiveness to the Holy Spirit.
At the heart of Brittany’s calling is a commitment to lifelong learning and faithful service, to be a bridge between the church and the academy. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys children’s literature, traveling, and riding roller coasters.
