Kingswood University’s commitment to strengthening the local and global church continues with a new strategic partnership with Kings Church.

This week saw the launch of the Kings Academy Ministry Apprenticeship Program, a creative and innovative response to the need for empowered, equipped, and effective ministers in the local church. With five locations around the Maritime Provinces, Kings Church is committed to equipping people to pursue their calling with confidence that is developed through academic preparation and ministry experience.

Kingswood University is pleased to serve as the academic partner for Kings Academy, providing in-depth theological training for all students in the apprenticeship program. Through a series of courses, students will build the strong foundation they need to step boldly into ministry leadership. The apprenticeship model ensures this training is immediately applied to the ministry context through hands-on experience gained by participating in and leading ministries across the Kings Church network.

“Kingswood University is delighted to work with Kings Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to fulfill our mission of strengthening the church by preparing Christ-like servant leaders. We are proud to partner with Kings Church and its innovative leadership team and look forward to working with other congregations in the future.”  – Dr. Stephen Lennox, President.
