One of last month’s highlights for Eileen and me was a trip to Florida. No, it wasn’t the warmer weather that made the trip delightful. Florida was having a cold snap, and I honestly regretted leaving the beauty of a snow-covered New Brunswick.
The trip was great for other reasons. It included a visit to Brooksville, where we connected with many Kingswood supporters and made new friends as well. My time there reminded me how so many have invested so much for so long, allowing us to enjoy what we do today.
We also attended the annual meeting of the Association of Biblical Higher Education. ABHE is our accrediting body and a great resource.
During the plenary sessions, we discussed the challenges facing Christian higher education, especially increasing government and societal pressure to compromise on biblical standards.
I came away from those meetings sobered by the challenges, but with a renewed conviction that Kingswood University still has an important role to play in God’s Kingdom. Never has a solid biblical education been more necessary than now.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we equip men and women to be Christ-like servant leaders for global impact.
