Hal (HS ’57) & Lois (Saunders HS’58) McGray
Hal and Lois met at Bethany Bible College Academy in 1957, where they dated only on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons (“Honestly,” said Hal). They married in 1960 and have three children, Mark, Shelley (Hanson FS ’84) and Brent. They also have seven grandchildren and a new great grandchild. After teaching in a vocational high school for 23 years in Burlington, Ontario, Hal left that career in 1991 to pursue a career of carving birds, teaching carving, and assisting Lois in operating their retail carving supply business in Wiarton, Ontario. They now enjoy retirement, spending six months in Wiarton and the rest of the year at Wesleyan Village in Brooksville, Florida. Hal and Lois highly recommend the village to all who enjoy Christian fellowship.
