Alumni in the News
Since the grand opening of Overflow, a Wesleyan church plant in Altoona, Pennsylvania, ten people have made decisions for Christ. Recently, the newspaper featured a story on the pastor of Overflow, Richard Cox (’07).
Alumni Getting Together
Dean Stephenson (’95), along with Rob MacCallum (’91), led a team of 17 Caton’s Island alumni on a mission trip to Haiti. They, along with Professor Brent Dongell, conducted a variety of ministry and camp training opportunities. Carl (’04) & Maya Gilles, missionaries in Haiti, hosted the team.
Just before Christmas, Jonathan Nace (’07), along with Josh (’06) and his wife Kristina, took a Wilderness First Responder course in North Carolina. The 80 hour course was offered through the Wilderness Medicine Institute. Their love for outdoor climbing and hiking that connected them as Kingswood classmates is an avenue of ministry for them today.
