David & Genevieve (HS ’60) Ingersoll
Several years after completing grade 12 at Bethany Bible College in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Genevieve met her husband, David. She was teaching school on Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick at the time. Together, they have spent over forty years in full-time ministry.
Genevieve writes, “While attending Bethany Bible College, I learned the importance of having daily time alone with the Lord. I also learned how to get along with others who didn’t always think and do as I did.” Some of her favourite memories of that grade 12 year include “Singspirations” after the Sunday evening service and choir practices with Mr. Patton. She also cherished the “free time” when she could go to town with her friends.
