Seminar Descriptions

How can food rescue teens from the hands of human traffickers and violent gangs? It’s actually one of the most powerful tools to fight this battle."

“JESUS WHO? Have you heard? Learn about those who have not yet heard.”

Kendra Sloan, from Compassion Canada will share the inspiring story of Kaitlin Boyda, a young girl who used her difficult circumstances to bless people. What kind of work does Compassion do and how can young people get involved?

A brief look at fair trade products

Cal Maskery, the founder of Harvest House, will lead students in exploring a Call to Missions and the various opportunities.

Matty Murray from International Justice Mission (IJM) Canada. Isaiah 61:8 tells us that God loves Justice. So do we! International Justice Mission Canada is part of a global organization working to combat injustice in developing communities around the world. Today, more than 40 million people live in slavery. We are the largest anti- slavery organization in the world and we believe we can end slavery in our lifetime. But it doesn't stop there. We're not only working to free people trapped in slavery, we're also protecting the poor from other forms of brutal violence. This seminar will focus on how IJM is putting God’s love for justice into action.
