Friday, November 18, two of our students Katie Betts and Erin Strakalaitis presented the Sussex Officials’ Appreciation Banquet.
Elizabeth Ebling ’16 Elizabeth is currently living in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She works for Backyard Ministries, which reaches out to low income neighbourhoods and government housing projects throughout Central Pennsylvania. They provide a mobile soup kitchen, kids clubs, and in-home Bible studies.
As the new library assistant, Amanda McFazden works alongside our librarian Virnna Sabine here at the Earle and Marion Trouten Library. Originally from Fredericton, she has a B.A. in Sociology from Crandall University in Moncton.
As I write this, we’re somewhere between Canadian and American Thanksgiving. We celebrate both holidays at Kingswood since we have so many students from both countries. I like celebrating thanksgiving twice because it gives me two chances to do what I need to be doing all year long—expressing gratitude to God.
We are thrilled to welcome Lindsey Saunders and Lindsay Miller as our new enrolment counsellors. It’s not too often that we find two such amazing, talented women both with the same name who work in the same department together! But that is just what happened this past August.
