Ken (FS’ 11) and Melissa (’08) Davis Ken and Melissa have both been appointed to Trinity Wesleyan Church in Sunbury, PA. Melissa will be the new Missions Pastor and Ken the Creative Arts and Outreach Pastor.
On April 28 and 29, Kingswood held our Baccalaureate and Commencement services celebrating our forty-nine graduates of 2017. We are proud of all that our students have accomplished and look forward to what God has in store for them next.
Dave (’04) and Nicole Lunn Dave and Nicole are proud to announce the birth of Abigail Grace who was born on February 22, 2017. Dave serves as the youth pastor at Westside Community Church in Morden, MB and is pursuing his PhD in theology through the University of Manchester UK. Along with volunteering in
Peace in the Midst of Chaos Running around, rushing from class to class, tackling hours of homework that have piled up out of seemingly nowhere—this is the life of a university student. It feels like there is so little time for things.
I sat down to interview Kingswood faculty member Dr. Gavel. Dr. Gavel is head of both the graduate studies and theology and Bible departments, as he oversees both the Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology and the Bachelor of Theology degrees.
We are closing the books on our spring semester 2017. This has been a great semester in so many ways. Best of all, God has been present among us, eliciting powerful worship, enabling student ministry, and fostering spiritual formation.
What Is Your Deepest Fear? In my opinion, one of the best basketball movies, without a doubt, would be Coach Carter. It is hands down one of my favorite movies, because it does not just focus on the sport of basketball. Based on a true story, this movie is about Ken Carter who coaches the
