Kingswood Institute of TESL

The Teacher of English as a Second Language certificate prepares graduates to instruct in local or international settings, opening doors to jobs in the ESL markets and to creative-access countries where traditional ways of doing mission are prohibited.

Teachers of English as a Second Language Certificate

Our TESL program introduces and provides understanding of concepts, theory, and methods related to teaching English to speakers of other languages, delivered by highly qualified and TESL Canada-certified faculty.

Through the completion of the TESL I and TESL II courses, you will earn a basic certificate with 100 hours of instruction, indicating your competency to instruct speakers of other languages both locally and internationally. An optional practicum in a multicultural setting is available.
