I often speak with gratitude of how you invest in our students. You might want to hear specific ways your investment is paying dividends.
God is using our students in powerful ways in the lives of others. One young woman, timid by nature, recently shared with new-found confidence how God had used her to lead someone to faith in Christ during a school-sponsored ministry in a prison.
God has used our students as instruments to bring physical healing. A recent trip to New York City saw several people healed. While ministering in a local prison, God healed one of those incarcerated through our team.
God is also bringing healing to our students. One co-ed testified how God is at work through recent challenges—the most difficult she has ever faced—to make her more confident of His goodness than she has ever been. Another student described to me how God worked through his Kingswood experience to replace the chip on his shoulder with love in his heart.
We saw a record-number of teens and sponsors experience God’s presence during Encounter, our fall youth conference. You would have been so proud to see how graciously our students hosted these campus guests.
We are seeing Kingswood students develop as spiritual leaders right before our eyes. New-found confidence and passion mark their investment in the lives of others. There seems to be something about this campus community that God is using to shape our students.
I don’t have time to tell you all the other ways your investment is making a difference, like stronger connections with our alumni, great progress in our clubhouse development, including the final phase of funding for the Benson Athletic Complex, a renovated Welcome Centre, and more.
A financial investor will tell you that the best investments pay dividends. Be assured the dividends I’ve described are the best ever for they spill over into the lives of others and last for eternity.
Thank you for your faithful support through prayers and gifts and by steering students in our direction. Eileen and I wish you a blessed Christmas and a well-invested 2018.
