Dr. Mark Gorveatte - President

 

Rev. Mark Gorveatte became the 11th President of Kingswood University in 2010. 

A graduate of Bethany’s high school program (1977), Mark completed a B.A. degree from Southern Wesleyan University, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Indiana Wesleyan University awarded an honorary Doctor of Theology degree in December 2010.

Dr. Gorveatte has been recognized for his leadership in the Church 25 years of local church and denominational leadership. He has equipped leaders for church health and multiplication in North America and internationally in places like Azerbaijan, Brazil, Cambodia and New Zealand.  His passion is to equip servant leaders for global impact.

Mark and Sherry (Wilkerson) Gorveatte were married in 1984, and they have three sons and one daughter.  John is currently a student at Kingswood University; Josiah is a high school senior; Joel is in 10th grade, and their daughter, Jordan, is in eighth grade.
